Q1. Who will benefit from or be able to access this facility and its resources?

Every and anyone resident in the Borough.

Q2. How will I be affected during the construction period?

There will be a very limited amount of inconvenience to local residents during this project. About 5% of the park area will need to be closed off for us to clear the existing debris and spoil from the site, which will be an instant improvement for all. We will work closely with the Council and Park Department to mutually achieve the best programme and route in to remove the debris and deliver the new materials to start construction. We will be very respectful of people’s need for access in Japan Road and their peace and quiet, and also to keep our civils works transport and deliveries to a minimum and to have them take place at times that will not be an annoyance to the local residents. We will put back any wear and tear made during the works, to the original backdrop of the park and its surrounds, and following intensive surveys with a professional arborist and other surveys we will not create loss or damage to trees or change the pleasant feeling that neighbourhood have.

Q3. Is this construction work going to cost me anything financially or materially?

Clear Span Buildings Ltd, take a very experienced caring approach to projects to make sure that they always work together with their clients to support them, and to cause the least amount of inconvenience to the local area and residents during all construction projects. In fact, we will work with the planners at all times to ensure that we deliver the project as quickly as possible under a consultation process, with the very least amount of temporary inconvenience to all.

Q4. What are the risk factors involved here and how do you intend to address or mitigate these issues?

As with every type of construction work, whether small-scale or large-scale, there are always health and safety issues involved. This work is no exception, hence clears-pan limited will be taking extensive steps of the higher possible and standard to ensure that, the health and safety of the public is robustly protected throughout the entire.

Any other questions, concerns, or advice you wish to raise or give that will be helpful to consider before the actual commencement of the project should be entered into the box below.
